Synopsis: A Buenos Aires Ghost is a fantasy movie, about the relationship between a shy young man today, and the spirit of a violent knife-killer murdered in 1920. The kid and the ghost make a pledge: the latter will tell the former what exists beyond death if he allows him to inhabit his body for a whole day. Thus, the ghost will go around an unrecognizable twenty first century Buenos Aires to uncover the causes of his own death. Along the way, the two become friends as the spirit helps the young man overcome his shyness. The film offers suspense, irony, emotion and a reflection upon the changes brought about by the lapse of time.

El Fantasma de Buenos Aires es un film fantástico con toques de comedia, sobre la relación entre un joven tímido de hoy y el espíritu de un cuchillero asesinado en 1920. El joven y el fantasma hacen un pacto: el espiritu le dirá lo que hay después de la muerte si el joven lo deja vivir un día dentro de su cuerpo. Así, este fantasma tanguero recorre el irreconocible Buenos Aires del siglo XXI, para esclarecer los motivos de su propia muerte. En este camino nace una amistad entre ellos y el espíritu termina ayudando al joven a vencer su timidez. En el film conviven el suspenso, la ironía, la emoción y cierta reflexión sobre los cambios que han traído los años.
