By Aeroplane To Pygmyland is the cinematic account of a Dutch-American expedition through New Guinea in the twenties. The search for Papuans will take place under the leadership of Dr. Matthew W. Stirling, ethnologist of the U.S. National Museum. Participate in the expedition: 75 natives and Dutch soldiers, 130 and 210 Dyaks Malaysian prisoners. The first explorations take place in a seaplane. The customs of the Papuans, by Stirling called pygmies, with scorn comment.
