K and Eetu are best buddies - and cyclomaniacs. They work together as bicycle messengers in the Helsinki city centre and both are training for the National Championship. However, when Oona, a charming girl, joins their courier company, Eetu immediately falls in love with her natural energy. K's main preoccupation is bicycling, thus he resents the fact that Oona's presence is disturbing their training regime. While Eetu pursues his crush, K is training in secret. As a result, he wins a regional championship. Eetu, disappointed at his own performance, decides to quit. However, K needs a training partner and convinces him to start again. As the summer proceeds, K falls in love with Oona, thus he is faced with a tough choice.
