SYNOPSIS
Based on Patrick Rotman's self-titled book, Florent Emilio Siri's "L'ennemi intime" a.k.a "Intimate Enemies" (2007) focuses on the highly controversial Algerian war (1954-1962), and France's struggle to prevent its colony from gaining independence. Tackling a number of controversial themes, some of which still unresolved, the film goes on to deliver an important message with style impossible not to admire.
