Armand is living out his last few years before retirement in comfort and style on the French Riviera. His clothes shop provides him with a comfortable income and he happily divides his leisure time between his two loves, his girlfriend Viviane and his favourite street restaurant, l’Aline Roc. Armand could not ask for a more idyllic life. Then he learns, to his horror, that l’Aline Roc is to be sold to a property developer who intends to build in its place a hotel for Russian millionaires. Mild mannered Armand has absolutely no intention of letting this happen...
