Story : Patrick would like to believe his girlfriend Léa, who introduced her former rival Clara as a perverse manipulative responsible for the disappearance of her former fiancé. But, since Clara is shared by their friends Bruno and Virginia, Léa has a strange behavior. Would she be subject to this morbid paranoid jealousy as Clara claimed ?
Un jeune avocat, Patrick, et sa nouvelle petite amie, Léa, se rendent à un dîner organisé par un couple d'amis, Bruno et Virginie. A peine entrée dans l'appartement, Léa se décompose en apercevant, confortablement installée dans le canapé de ses hôtes, la charmante Clara, à qui la lie depuis plusieurs années une relation haineuse. Clara ne lui a-t-elle pas naguère «volé» son fiancé ? Mais Patrick demeure dubitatif : comment, après plusieurs années, peut-on continuer de haïr ainsi une ancienne rivale ? Clara ne manque pas d'expliquer à Patrick que, selon elle, Léa est tout simplement atteinte de paranoïa aiguë. Peu à peu, Patrick commence à douter. Qui est vraiment la douce Léa qu'il croyait tant aimer ?
