One of the first "Commedia all'italiana", starring a young and gorgeous Sophia Loren.
A nice comedy, funny and well acted, about a woman, called Cesira who tries to get a husband any way she can - so, with astrology - and her cousin Agnese who gets all the attencion of men she could possibly want without any trouble at all.
The two girls embark on a search for an appropriate mate for Cesira, despite the fact that all eligible males instantly gravitate to Agnese. Some of the choices -- petty thief Alberto Sordi, impecunious poet Vittorio De Sica -- are frankly not good enough for either girl.
There are wonderful comic part of Alberto Sordi and hilarious part of Vittorio de Sicca, as an old, poor poet, that uses every known trick to get some money causing amazingly funny scenes.
