This is a great, haunting film. A good counterpoint to the violent Baader-Meinhof Complex film, this tells the story of fellow revolutionaries Brigade Rosse's 1978 kidnapping of Italian president Aldo Moro. A very thought provoking film with plenty of blame to go around. Not least of all where I (as an American, anyway) would least expect it.
Starring a wonderful Maya Sansa as well as Luigi Lo Cascio and Roberto Herlitzka.
This film won the Fipresci Prize at the 2003 European Film Awards and a screenplay award at that year's Venice Film Festival.
Features very effective music from Pink Floyd's 1975 LP "Wish You Were Here".
